Agricultural Processing
Agricultural use is given to property owners whose large parcels would otherwise have prohibitively high taxes. Each state provides a schedule whereby those taxpayers can lower the land value on which their taxes are assessed.
Add Agricultural Use
13. Open parcel from the Home tab
14. Change Tax Year to desired year
15. Click Check Out
16. Click within the Parcel Info hyper region
17. Select either 11: Agriculture or 12: Forest from the Land Use drop-down and click Update
Note: Agricultural Use values will not be applied until Agricultural Use has been approved. To do this, the user must enter an approval date and approved by, if one has not already been selected. |
18. Click the Check In link and select the appropriate information for changes that were made, and then click the Check In button
Note: Notice the top of the parcel will say “Greenbelt” |
Agricultural Use Processing
1. Login to Capture and click Flags on the main workspace
2. Sort by the following and click Go:
3. Click the parcel link from the results to open the Parcel Information Dashboard
4. Select Letters from the Parcel Information Dashboard
5. Check mark Application for Greenbelt Assessment click Generate, open, and Enable Editing for this document
6. Verify that the information pulling in from the parcel to the letter is correct
7. Print and save the letter to a folder called Capture Documents using a standard naming practice
8. Click the Documents tab on the Parcel Information dashboard and then click Add
9. Click Browse to upload the Application for Greenbelt Assessment Letter and then click Add
10. Close the Parcel Information dashboard and click the Flags tab on the main workspace
11. Search for the previous worked parcel and click the Open link
12. Change Status to Completed, enter a Completed Date and click Update
