Creating A Sketch
Users can create new sketches for new buildings or buildings that were previously not sketched. Sketches are used to automatically calculate square footage for areas and appendages. This Quick Help shows users how to create sketches in the Capture Sketch Module.
Editing A Sketch
Sketches can be edited to correct existing areas, to add new areas or to remove existing areas. This Quick Help shows users how to edit an existing sketch in the Capture Sketch Module.
Image Upload
Users can upload image files to the Capture Sketch Module to assist in sketching. Images, such as blueprints, can be traced to ensure accurate sketching. This Quick Help shows users how to upload an image into the Capture Sketch Module.
Copy and Paste a Sketch
This Quick Help shows users how to copy a sketch from one parcel and paste it to another parcel.
Flipping A Sketch
Sketched areas can be flipped horizontally or vertically to create identical but mirrored duplicate areas. This Quick Help shows users how to flip a sketch in the Capture Sketch Module.
Adding Icons and Features
Users can add icons to represent various features in the building, such as plumbing fixtures. Icons and features added to the sketch do not effect the calculations of square footage or building value. This Quick Help shows users how to add icons and features in the Capture Sketch Module.
