Defining Mass Printing
Capture allows users to mass print things such as Rendition Schedules and Letters for large groups of parcels or accounts. Mass printing saves time by eliminating the need to enter each parcel or account to print the same information. There are two ways in which Capture mass prints, Batch Printing and printing through a Custom List.
Batch Printing
Batches are created to print large groups of the same item simultaneously. Batch Printing is used to print pre-programmed items such as Rendition Schedules as it allows the user to print a schedule for each account simultaneously rather than individually, thus saving the user plenty of valuable time.
Custom List Printing
Custom Lists are created to group large numbers of like parcels or accounts. Custom List Printing is useful for printing the same letter for multiple parcels or accounts as well as printing PRCs on a mass scale for things such as parcel maintenance. Custom lists can be created manually or through the use of Maps.

Common Mass Prints Jobs
Printing Valuation Change Notices
Valuation Change Notices must be printed and sent to taxpayers when the value of their property has changed from one year to the next. Capture combines both the Prop Sales/Value Changes report with the Custom List feature to allow for the mass printing of Change of Assessment Letter to be printed and sent to the taxpayer. Through the use of the Custom List, users may also print the Change of Assessment Release Letter to be printed and sent to the Trustee Office.
Rendition Schedules
Capture allows the user to create Custom Lists/Batches in order to print Personal Property Renditions to send to the taxpayers. Printing Rendition Schedules is a form of Batch Printing which means that a large number of rendition schedules can be printed simultaneously. Upon return of the rendition schedules, users may mark the rendition as Received and then add, edit, delete, and regenerate items associated with the personal property account.
